A business does not need to be present in every advertising platform at the same time. A few channels with a clear role are usually stronger than ten tools without enough resources for analysis and development.
Start with demand
If people are already actively searching for a service, Google Search and SEO can form a natural foundation. If a product needs to be shown and explained visually, social advertising may be more important.
Consider the sales cycle
An impulse purchase and a B2B contract with a multi-month decision process require different numbers of touchpoints and different content.
Assess the content you can produce
Meta Ads and social media require a steady flow of creatives. Search marketing requires high-quality landing pages and content built around demand.
Check the economics
Average order value, margin, conversion rate, repeat sales and an acceptable CAC determine how much can sustainably be spent on acquisition.
Do not forget analytics
A channel that cannot be measured properly is harder to optimise. Tracking should be planned before the budget is scaled.
Start with priorities
Choose one or two channels where demand, economics and the ability to execute well align. Collect data first, then expand the system.
The role of strategy
Channels change, but the task remains the same: find the audience, communicate value, bring people to a convenient conversion point and measure the result.
